Why You Should Choose A Clean Eating Lifestyle

October 28, 2017 Rosalind Armstrong
https://www.rosarm4u.com

Clean eating is a lifestyle trend that has been growing in popularity over the past few years. Clean eating focuses on whole, unrefined foods rather than pre-cooked or processed alternatives. All natural products here http://bit.do/b2s9J

The alternatives tend to have much of their nutritional value removed as a result of making them last longer or cost less. Does your diet consist mostly of fast food or instant meals? Here are a few things you can gain by adopting a clean eating lifestyle.

A Healthier Heart

Many whole foods can have a positive impact on your heart health. Nuts are high in heart-healthy nutrients such as vitamin E, omega-3 fatty acids, and fiber. Almonds are particularly high in monounsaturated fats, which help lower the levels of bad cholesterol in your blood. http://bit.do/b2s9J

Whole grains such as brown rice, oats, or whole wheat bread are also great sources of fiber, which helps your body to process cholesterol. However, you do it, lowering your blood cholesterol levels lowers your risk of heart disease. http://bit.do/healthycorner

Less Risk of Diabetes

Sugar tastes great. Which is unfortunate, because it's not a healthy part of your diet. Sugar provides what are called empty calories, meaning that it offers no nutritional value other than calories.

Regularly eating too much sugar can also cause your body to build up an insulin resistance. This means that your cells are more resistant to insulin's normal effect of transferring glucose into them from the bloodstream. Insulin resistance can contribute to the development of disorders including metabolic disorder and type II diabetes.http://bit.do/b2s9J

More Energy

Processed foods have a high glycemic index, which means that they are broken down quickly by your body. They give you a sudden, short-term burst of energy due to the spike in your blood glucose levels. However, these sudden bursts also mean sudden declines, which has the potential to leave you feeling sluggish and fatigued.

http://www.rosarm4u.com

Clean foods, on the other hand, tend to have a lower glycemic index. This means that they take longer for your body to break down and are a more stable source of energy over a longer period of time.http://bit.do/healthycorner

Expand Your Horizons

When you plan a menu around packaged or pre-prepared meals, you take some of the freedom out of your menu choices. It may not seem like this is the case, since there are so many different flavors and varieties of these packaged meals to choose from. But, there are countless recipes available from sources like cookbooks, cooking magazines, and food-related websites. Look for recipes that stick to whole foods as much as possible.http://bit.do/b2s9J

Clean eating is all about getting the nutrients that your body needs without taking in extras which may be harmful. Eating clean can help reduce the risk of kidney damage, heart disease, type II diabetes and a stroke. Whole ingredients may be a bit more expensive, but the resulting health benefits are well worth the extra cost.

Tips For Making Smarter Choices When Eating Meat

October 7, 2017 Rosalind Armstrong

For a lot of people, meat is a key part of their daily dinner menu that they just won't give up. Interestingly enough, the USDA recently found that beef and pork consumption in the U.S. has decreased over the past decade. However, the U.S. is still among the countries with the highest rate of meat consumption in the world. http://bit.do/b2s9J

With meat being such a prominent part of our diet, it's important to keep your health and well-being in mind while planning your meals. Here are a few choices you can make to work toward a smarter, healthier diet. http://bit.do/healthycorner

Don't Forget about Veggies

When you're eating delicious burgers or fried chicken, it's easy for fruits and vegetables to slip your mind. Try to include these in your meals as often as possible. One of the easiest ways you can do this is to make a salad to go with dinner. Salad is a very versatile side and you can incorporate fruits, vegetables, dressing, and just about anything else that you want into them. http://bit.do/b2s9J

Go for Grass-Fed Beef

Many beef cows are fed grain every day. But, grass is the natural bovine food source. Studies have shown that meat from cows that have eaten grass provides more nutrients than from cows who are fed grain. This includes vitamin A, vitamin B, and omega-3 fatty acids. In fact, grass-fed beef has been known to contain up to five times the omega-3s of grain-fed beef. Grass-fed beef also contains more conjugated linoleic acid, a fatty acid which actually helps to reduce body fat.

Add Some Eggs

Eggs are one of the healthiest foods you can eat. They provide you with nutrients such as vitamin D and B12, which helps to lower your risk of heart disease. But, don't limit yourself to breakfast when it comes to incorporating more of them into your diet. Poached or hard-boiled eggs go great in a salad at lunch or dinner. Just make sure not to overdo it, especially if you have high cholesterol or diabetes. http://bit.do/b2s9J

Keep Sodium Levels Low

Most foods contain some amount of sodium, though for many it's not enough to have a significant effect on the body. Meats, particularly ham and shellfish, have the highest natural sodium contents. Despite this, the leading contributor of sodium in your diet is likely salt.

Many people add salt to the majority of their meals, meaning a diet that is much higher in sodium. Remember, eating too much sodium over a prolonged period can lead to heart or liver problems. http://bit.do/b2s9J

Meat can be a perfectly healthy addition to any diet routine. It's one of the best sources of protein available and also provides essential nutrients such as iron, selenium and zinc. But, like with any food, it's important to take nutritional value into consideration while planning a menu. http://bit.do/healthycorner

Always try to prepare reasonably sized servings and to include a diverse mix of different food groups in every dish. This will ensure that you eat balanced meals that provide everything that your body needs for a long, healthy life.

Consequences of Racism, Does It Affect Your Health?

September 3, 2017 Rosalind Armstrong
Healthy Views-https://www.rosarm4u.com

From countries ranging from not just America, but the entire world, racism has been a long-lasting and terrible part of society. Obviously it's not as strong as it was in the 16th - 18th centuries, but people of this age still exercise the obscene act of hating someone due to their skin color and race from time-to-time. Whether it be loss of self-confidence for the persecuted or overwhelming negativity for the persecutor, you will learn about the damaging effects of racism for both parties.

Psychological Health of The Victim

For the average victim of discrimination and racial targeting, it is almost like being trapped in a mouse cage, being watched and laughed at by over-lurking beings. For example, a young, single African man working a part-time job deals with a group of fellow co-workers who shout racist slurs towards him and single him out everyday, overall being bullies in the working world. Take the time to truly immerse yourself in this daily work-life of misery before reading further. Got a good idea? Great, because you should be able to infer that this continuing abuse leads to deterioration of self-confidence, appearances of depression, and even a fear of people of differing race in extreme cases! Suicide sadly is one of the biggest effects of racism. These poor people are alone against active discrimination. This doesn't just happen to only single African men as said in the example, other minorities (Asian or White in some countries) and even entire families can be targets of racism! Ranging from a black dad of five children whose job opportunity was turned down because of his skin color, or the eldest brother being pulled over by a police officer for the same reasoning! http://bit.do/b2s9J

Another recent example can be the ban of white males from certain spots of the University of Minnesota! Discrimination leads to not only mental deterioration for exclusively the lone minority man, but his family and other people of other ethnic groups.

https://www.rosarm4u.com

Negativity Of The Persecutor

Normally, you think the only victim is obviously the victim, but that is sometimes not simply the case. The abuser can be a victim of themselves in cases, which is indeed an odd thing to hear, but pent-up negativity and hatred can present stress, terrible habits, and a slow loss of human respect. This is not to sympathize with active racists, but to actually show them that the willpower and mindset to fuel the hateful activity they show towards other races is self-damaging long-term! People who have their mind so obtusely and powerfully focused on their disgust of minorities or people with differing skin colors wears on them, consumes their mind, and eventually dominates their mentality! They become harder to approach, easily disliked by others, and diversely inept to the individuals they work with. These psychological effects also come with neurological effects such as: increased blood pressure, anxiety, and increased chances of getting a stroke. When added up, those mentioned effects can end up shortening their lifespan! Once you look at it, there is no point to it all! No point to the anger that ruins the social and mental status of both the persecutor and the minorities they ostracize! http://bit.do/healthycorner

We Must Come Together

This is why we must put aside these insignificant prejudices! In this day and age of advancing technology, we need an advancing people to compliment it, a people that can come together and unlock the human race's true potential. After all, we're strongest when together, is that right? So, the next time you see a man or woman that differs from you in terms of skin color or race, do not even look at those traits but rather the person that you believe they are, uninfluenced by the physical shell. This message hopes to spread the willpower of good morals to stop any petty discriminatory acts. If you have performed anything racially fueled towards someone else. It is not too late! We always have a chance to redeem ourselves and show society that we have developed as an individual. This is our moment to truly unite as a single human race! And to be an example for other countries around the world. http://bit.do/b2s9J

Inexpensive Ways to Eat More Fruits and Veggies

August 17, 2017 Rosalind Armstrong

Fruits and vegetables are highly nutritious. Not only that, they also provide your body with many essential vitamins and other nutrients. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to make these things a regular part of our diet. The good news is that both fruit and vegetables are very versatile when it comes to their use in the kitchen. Here are several great ways to incorporate fresh produce into every meal of the day. Techui has all the benefits of eating a salad without the leaves, learn more here http://bit.do/b2s9J

Breakfast

Many fruits are already considered to be a great addition to a complete breakfast. Orange or grapefruit juice provides a wholesome alternative to coffee and sugary sports drinks. However, keep in mind that some of these juices contain added sugars, so be sure you enjoy them in moderation.

Another way to serve fruits at breakfast is in the form of a homemade fruit spread. Take fresh fruit and slowly boil it down to thicken. You can add honey for sweetness, though many fruits will be sweet enough without it. Depending on the fruit you use, you may need to add a little pectin to help it thicken as it cools. This fresh fruit spread makes a great topping for a bagel or a piece of toast. Try Techui learn more now http://bit.do/b2s9J

Vegetables are associated with breakfast less often. But, that doesn't mean there aren't ways to appreciate them. You can try bell pepper or tomato slices with eggs to bring a little something extra to your omelets. Or, you could take a step toward a full English breakfast and include fried tomatoes in the meal.

If you prefer a shake or a smoothie in the morning for breakfast, there are all sorts of recipes for both fruit and veggie smoothies available on the internet. It only takes a quick search to find them. Try this http://bit.do/b2s9J

Lunch

Lunch is a meal that many of us take for granted. For many people lunchtime is an extremely busy period. This means that they often choose the fast-food option rather than the healthy one.

Vegetable soup is a good choice, which allows you to add in whatever produce you desire. If you change up what you mix together each time, you'll be able to enjoy a little variety from batch to batch. Another option is simply to eat raw fruits or veggies along with lunch or as a snack. Benefits of a salad learn more at http://bit.do/b2s9J try Techui.

Dinner

Adding fruit to your dinner is easier than you may think. Just about any fruit you can imagine can be cooked into a sauce or glaze for anything from beef, chicken and pork, or even seafood. Some fruit also makes a great topping for simple meals like hamburgers or pizza.

As far as vegetables go, it's likely that you already eat them with your dinner on a regular basis. But, that doesn't mean there isn't room for more in your diet. Try to plan meals that center around vegetables as often as possible, such as soup or stir fry. http://bit.do/b2s9J

Also, don't forget about a yummy side salad and never pass up a great opportunity to include vegetables, fruit and nuts into your evening meal. Greens such as kale or lettuce are the perfect example of this.

One of the main influences on fruit and vegetable prices is the season. These foods tend to be much less expensive and easier to find during and shortly after their harvest season. For example, pumpkins are widely available in the fall, while pineapples are easy to find in the spring. Making your fruit and vegetable choices based on the season allows you to save money as well as give your menu a fun-to-eat theme. If you are finding it difficult to eat healthy grab Techui it has all the benefits of eating healthy http://bit.do/b2s9J
